Lighting the way

Welcome

Our school is a welcoming place to learn for children aged 3 to 11 and is situated in East Leake, a village between Loughborough and Nottingham. A school has stood on this site for 70 years with the current building being opened in September 2003; we are proud of our well-equipped classrooms, dedicated staff and our caring and inclusive community. Our CARE values lie at the heart of everything we do; our aim is for all our pupils to develop confidence in themselves, achieve their full potential and engage in every opportunity in school in a respectful and enthusiastic manner.

Our CARE Values

To achieve this, we aim to provide an environment that nurtures confidence, achievement, respect and enthusiasm (CARE) in all aspects of life.

Confidence

To enable all pupils, staff, governors and parents to have the confidence in themselves to achieve their best in our school and in the wider community - both now and in the future.

Achieve

To enable all pupils, staff, governors and parents to achieve by developing an interest in and love of learning across all areas of life.

Respect

For everyone to respect and value each other (both within school and the wider community) whilst also respecting authority and the environment in which we live and work.

Enthusiastic

To fully engage and be enthusiastic, embracing new opportunities, taking appropriate risks and responding positively to challenge.
