Keeping the school community safe
At Lantern Lane, we recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and protect children from harm and promote the welfare of all pupils. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice.
Our policy and practice takes into account the Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance (September 2025) and relevant local & national policy and guidance.
Every child has the right to be safe from harm and danger. Every adult at Lantern Lane has a responsibility to ensure children and families are safe and happy at home and school. We will always listen to you and do everything we can to help.
